Daniel Turns 3 and Baby is almost here

It is so hard to believe that Daniel turned 3 this week and that we will have a new baby tomorrow. I thought I should get a post in before I become totally sleep deprived! Sorry it has been so long.

First, Daniel is doing great. He is a precious little boy. Below you will see some pictures from his Mickey Birthday party. He had a great time. We also took him to Chattanooga a couple of weeks ago for a last weekend of just the three of us. They have a great children's museum there that he loves and the hotel had a great indoor pool. We also took him last weekend to a local petting zoo. They had about everything you could imagine from goats (including babies that were born an hour before we got there), zebras, monkeys and even 2 young tigers(obviously you can't pet these!) I have to admit it was a lot more walking that I expected! There are also a lot of misc pictures.

We will be inducing tomorrow since our little girl is as hesitant to come as Daniel was. It looks like everything is going well, except for the fact that they are estimating her to be 10 pounds! We will try the induction and if that doesn't work we will have to do a C-Section. I really hope not but having a healthy baby is the most important thing. We will let everyone know when she makes her arrival. I will also post a picture of me before delivery. I have to admit my belly is HUGE!

This is Daniel's posed smile.

We had cupcakes at our house on his actual birthday. He only eats (or licks off) the icing and leaves the cake.

Daniel's favorite thing at the petting zoo was probably the ducks. The little ducks with the strange wings are called angel ducks.

Daniel still loves ponies.

Daniel's silly face in front of the zebras.

Daniel feeding the goats. He wasn't really sure about having them eat out of his hands.

Daniel with his friend Abby at her birthday party in her new Barbie Jeep. They were so cute together.

I just like this picture. It also shows one of our weird habits. Some of the sippy cups that we have are not insulated so they get pretty cold. Mom would always put a sock on them to insulate them and keep Daniel's hands from getting cold. The bottom of the sock where the seam is was named a "sock butt". Told you it was wierd.

We took Daniel for his first dentist appointment. He was absolutely perfect. He let them clean his teeth and the Dentist come in and check everything. So far his teeth are looking good. Yea!

Here he is at the Chattanooga children's museum. The water part is probably his favorite. They have all sorts of levers, squirters and buckets to play with. He must have been thinking hard with his tongue sticking out.

This is for the St. Louis folks. They had these big blocks that when put together made an arch. It fell a few seconds later!

We have had 1 "real" snow. Here is our version of Frosty.

Here Daniel is on the redneck version of a sled.
