Daniel Turns One!!

It seems almost impossible that Daniel is now 1 year old. Sorry it has been so long since our last post. It has been a very busy couple of months. Daniel is doing great and is growing like a weed. We had his 1 year checkup and he is now an amazing 34 inches long and almost 26 pounds. He was wonderful at his checkup and didn't even cry when they had to stick his finger for a second time. He is currently working on his 12th tooth which is his lower right molar. He can really bite! He has had a few amazing changes in the last few weeks. First, he woke up one morning and decided he was done with the bottle and his formula. We were shocked since he loved his bottle. I didn't think he would ever get weaned but I guess he decided he was finished. Next, he has started to let go and take steps on his own. He can now make it across the room which is about 7-10 steps. He is still pretty wobbly but he is really getting the hang of things. He is also really starting to try to talk. He loves to try and say Zena. It comes out as Zzzzz. He had a great birthday party as you will see below. He had a ball with his cake! Here are some recent pictures. We think he is as cute as ever!
