Daniel turns 9 months old!

Daniel is now 9 months old and it is hard to believe. He is growing up so fast. He had his 9 month check up and got a clean bill of health. He is a whopping 23 pounds and 31 inches long! He is even more off the chart for height than he was before.

He has perfected crawling and can chase the cats with amazing speed. He is also doing a lot of cruising on the couch as you can see below. He has learned to clap which is great fun to watch. He has also cut another tooth, so he is now up to 7. Needless to say he is a really good eater. He is also getting pretty good feeding himself small things like "puffs" for babies.

We took a trip to Saint Louis at the beginning of the month. I had a work conference and Dan and Daniel tagged along. While we were there, we were able to visit with Dan's family and friends.

I will try to be a little faster with my posts. It is amazing how little time there is in a day anymore.

Daniel's Great Uncle Joe happened to be in Tennessee and stopped by for lunch. Daniel and Joe got along great.

Daniel prepares for takeoff on his second plane trip. He did really great in spite of the fact the plane was stuck for 45 minutes on the runway while the air conditioning was being fixed.

Because our plane was delayed, we missed our connection and had a longer layover. Daniel didn't mind a bit. It gave him the opportunity to explore the airport. He loved crawling around and we tried to not think about the germs.

Daniel is ready to roll in his Sit n Stroll convertible carseat/stroller. This is a must for travel and as you can see Daniel loves it.

Even the best traveler needs to rest sometime!
